Naturalist illustration and nature journaling have allowed me to rediscover—and fall in love again with—the world of natural sciences: a realm that is often little known, yet incredibly diverse and fascinating.

Art and illustration are powerful tools for bringing scientific and cultural knowledge closer to people who might not otherwise have access to these discoveries. They also make it possible to communicate complex concepts through visual languages that reach beyond the academic world.

I am passionate about continuing to learn, exploring the connections between visual arts and science, and developing collaborative projects with researchers, writers, journalists, artists, and designers to keep sharing science from new perspectives.

My mission is to highlight the value of our oceans and nature by integrating art and science through illustration, nature journaling, and the visual arts. I aim to address topics that are often difficult to access or understand, to rediscover nature, and to keep learning continuously.
